ok so call me super slack but i never got around to the 11 week update... maybe i'll attach it to the end of this post. who knows?
matt and i went to the doctor this morning for our next baby visit. we are happy to report that both babies are doing well. their heart rates are 171 bpm which is good. they are growing. it was so exciting to see them moving around. baby a is more laid back while baby b was kicking and punching and waving. i'll get to go for another ultrasound next week. they had wanted to do a certain test (something routine) but because of the way the babies were laying they couldn't so we'll try again next week.
i don't go back for a complete doctor visit until october 22nd (what a great birthday present for me). oh yeh the big news... to answer everyone's question, my due date is april 17th.
well there you have it. see pictures below.

Well, the devil won another battle today. It's important to remember that God has won the war but battles are still being fought.
In an article released today:
Former Contemporary Christian Music singer Ray Boltz -- known for his song "Thank You," as well as "Watch the Lamb," "The Anchor Holds," and "I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb"--divorced his wife last year and has now gone public with the news that he is gay.
Geez.

Ok, so I've been slack lately and without much inspiration, therefore, I haven't blogged lately.
There are a number of things to note:
I was incredibly proud of my Packers Sunday night. They won and without Brette Favre.
Let me clarify before anyone gets the wrong idea. I think the Packers should have taken Favre back. Come on, you don't treat a Hall of Famer football player like that. He's in the running for being the greatest quarterback of all time. Anyways... they played a good game. Rodgers proved he could play.
Gas is getting ridiculous. Its over $4 a gallon. We can't afford this, especially on one income.
The pregnancy seems to be going normally. My next appointment is about 1 1/2 weeks away. We'll have another ultrasound and get to see the babies. I'll be almost 12 weeks at that point.
Hmmm thats about it for now.

9 weeks
Well, here we are week 9:
Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!
